The variable speed dial sets the jigsaw anywhere between 0 to 3300 strokes per minute while the pressure-sensitive soft-start keeps the blade speed low until it is engaged against a workpiece. This conserves battery life while also prolonging the lifespan of the motor. The lock-on power-switch temporarily holds the trigger in place to alleviate the stress of holding it down continuously during long jobs. The front-mounted LED light helps illuminate your workpiece for maximum accuracy. Attack wood up to 4 inches thick and metal up to 3/8 inches thick with the 1-inch stroke. The orbital selection adjusts the motion of the blade to match the density of the cutting material and the desired cutting speed. Simply turn the knob to change the stroke from vertical to orbital, creating a pendulum effect with the saw’s blade. Easily bevel the tool-free bottom footplate up to 45 degrees in either direction for angled cuts in your workpiece. The quick-release chuck makes blade changes and installation faster and easier than ever. This package also includes a T-shank wood-cutting blade and a parallel fence bracket for making straight cuts.
